From the creators of the award winning games “The Whispered World” and “Deponia” Daedalic Entertainment brings a sequel to the award winning Edna & Harvey: The Breakout.

Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes, is a Classic point-and-click adventure game with a wicked sense of humor. Completely drawn by hand in 2D and implemented in Full-HD, Encompassed with a great soundtrack that is as eclectic as this game, you are constantly listening to blues, Gothic organ music, excellent instrumentals and even down-tempo electronica. The theme song performed Finn Seliger, who did the title track to Deponia, gave the opening credits a sinister feel giving that touch of dark game play up ahead.

The story starts out playing as Lilli,  a Shy schoolgirl who seems to be a mute, could have a lot to do with the fact she is constantly getting cut off by anyone who she attempts to converse with. She may have great intentions but deep down you can sense the feel of darkness trying to break free and control the situation. She goes through the story having to complete the menial tasks of her peers and Mother Superior, becoming an accidental serial killer in the process.

The characters are quirky & have a personality each their own. With great voice acting and narration. The backgrounds are littered with humor at every turn, from the painting of the Last Supper, to the cross in the chapel. The environment may not be fully click-able, but hilarity does ensue with every click. One note is the potato shaped gnomes who seem to sensor any possible upsetting event. Who couldn't laugh at a gnome painting over a carcass with pink paint.

The game play is a simple & classic, you click to pick up items and combine them to make better uses of those items. Lots of puzzle games with riddles that need to be deciphered, there is a skip function for those of us that don't want to think to hard too!

Nominated for “Game of the Year” at German Computer Games Awards 2012. Winner of “Youth Game of the Year” at German Computer Games Awards 2012 as well as winner of “Best Youth Game”, “Best Art Design” and “Best Story” at the German Game Developer Awards 2011

This game is easily a favorite to those who like the classic point and click adventure games as well as indie titles.
Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a twisted and dark adventure of a little girl battling her fears to reunite herself with her missing friend.

This title is definitely not for everyone, those who have issues with dark and tasteless humor or children committing suicide should probably stay away.

A strong 9.0
